Living and working with heart and soul

Welcome to my website where you can find out more about the resources I have found useful for healing, growth and personal development.  Each page provides information and easy access to other material and resources.

I no longer work with new clients but offer this space as a useful resource.

About Me

I am a counsellor, coach and facilitator, using person-centred principles and Appreciative Inquiry, nearing retirement.  I am still committed to learning about what helps people to heal and to live well, reaching their potential and living the lives they wish to live.  On this website, you will find resources that you may find helpful.  I am no longer working with new clients but hope that these resources prove useful.

Whole hearted living and working

‘If I could ask one thing of a crystal ball in any situation, it would not be how can I fix this; but what’s possible and who cares?’ Weisbord

As a whole person counsellor, coach and facilitator, I have supported people in healing, growing and living whole-heartedly; developing their potential in their personal and working lives.  I recommend approaches that are person-centred, creative and experiential, believing that, in a supportive and stimulating learning environment, people have everything they need to create the lives they want to live.  For information about whole person working for individuals and organisations, contact Oasis in Boston Spa on http://www.oasishumanrelations.org.uk

What gives life?

When do you feel most alive? When are you at your best?

I am committed to strengths-based and collaborative approaches, and recommend Appreciative Inquiry (AI) for working with individuals, groups and whole organisations to create strength-based sustainable change.

For more information about AI see www.davidcooperrider.com and www.Champlain.edu/appreciateinquiry

At the end of life

What are your choices and wishes for the end of your life? What will a ‘good death’ look like?

As a trained Soul Midwife, I have supported people who are dying; helping them and their families in their final journeys. I have also worked with people who are bereaved, with those preparing for the end of their life and people who are seeking to understand their own relationship with death and dying.

For information about the Soul Midwives School, contact

The Soul Midwives Portal

I am part of the Companion Voices Community who sing for people who are dying, at their bedside.  For information about the Nottingham Companion Voices group, contact: nottingham@companionvoices.com and see Companion Voices – England UK – Singing for the end of life for the national website
